Yes, you read that title correctly - 21st birthday CAKE SMASH! Danielle is actually one of my very best friends (and the godmother of my daughter!) and she and I had been planning this photoshoot for almost a year, since we realized that her niece's 1st birthday would be so close to her own. We got stormed out of our original plan of doing these with the woods as the background, but I've found over the years that some of the best shoots are those that are thrown together, and that definitely held true for this one!
